Job Description
Job Purpose
To supervise and coordinate all pre-delivery inspection activities to ensure that new vehicles are thoroughly inspected, prepared, and delivered to customers in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and quality requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision and Coordination
- Supervise PDI tasks and support staff.
- Allocate daily inspection tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure timely completion of vehicle inspections and preparation.
- Ensure all vehicles undergo comprehensive pre-delivery inspections.
- Maintain accurate PDI reports and checklists.
- Ensure all warranty and service records are properly completed.
- Prepare reports on vehicle readiness and delivery status.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain required materials.
- Liaise with Sales, Service, Parts, and Logistics departments to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Support customer demonstrations and vehicle handover when necessary.
Job Specifications
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in automotive service or quality inspection.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role is preferred.
